On the 24th of July, James and I woke up early to run the Speedy Spaniard 10K (6.2 miles). It was a beautiful morning and I actually finished in under an hour--57 min. I was so excited!
Afterwards, I took the little boys to the Mapleton parade and carnival at that park. They had a lot of fun on the giant bouncy slide.
That night we went to Casey and Pam's house for a barbecue. Their neighbors always put on a huge firework show, so after dinner we went over to watch. Tanner's friends from the band "The Vanishing Act" were the entertainment at the neighbor's party, so Tanner went over and sang several songs with them. I always love watching him sing and play guitar. He's self-taught and really good!
