Lunch with my High School Friends

My High School Friends and I got together for lunch today. Well, actually I guess we were friends from Middle School through High School--some even longer. It was so much fun to reminisce and laugh and talk about our lives. It's really sad that it took Sara coming into town from Wisconsin to all get together (since the rest of us live between Payson and SLC-ugh). We really should get together more often than that (once every 15-20 years just doesn't really cut it). Of course we had so much fun that now we decided we need to get together for a girl's night out/sleepover so we can watch some old favorites-Better off Dead, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, etc. as we go through all our old scrapbooks and letters to each other. For some reason I saved all the stupid letters we passed back and forth in class during Junior High and High School so we just MUST go through those to get a good laugh--you know the ones about how cute "he" is and "what we were going to do this weekend", etc. I really miss my girl friends and can't wait to see them again. Of course there were others that couldn't make it and we missed them, but hopefully next time they can come.

Me and Tara--we were the TJP Twins in Junior High because we had the same initials-TJP. Then she moved to Carlsbad, CA during High School.

Marci, Andrea, Sara and Me

Tara and her daughter, Alyssa

The gang--or at least those who could make it.

Doing our Cheerleader pose from back in the day when we all did Flag Twirling/Cheerleading for the Junior High Community Football Teams--Quality, Rotary, SnowDairy and Bona Signs.
(Sorry about the glare-don't know what happened). And yes, we are still the same goofy dorks that we were over 20 years ago.

Sara and Andrea

Marci and Erin

Andrea and Me--we were friends when we were really little (we lived by each other), then she moved to Payson and moved back just before Middle School, I believe. So basically--been friends forever.
